A Letter From Pennie…

I have been your neighbor for years, and I have watched this city come up from a small town to a bustling hub of citizens. Part of me enjoys having new neighbors. But my heart breaks for those left behind: the veterans, the every day people like me, and you. The reason I stepped up is because I saw what the City Council was doing to my home. I saw that change meant that some people, like Bryan Roach, got millions of dollars in real estate transactions and sweetheart deals, and others sleep out in the cold. I don’t think that is acceptable, and I think if we talk about service, we need to talk about serving everyone.

I have volunteered for the Knights of Columbus, and worked with the American Legion to feed those who are hungry. But I’ve come to realize, I cannot do it alone. So I’m running for City Council in Canton, because I want to be the difference.

Bryan Roach, my opponent, should know not everyone is a millionaire. And he should know he is not responsible to those who will open their wallets, but that he is responsible to the people who vote. Help me hold this city accountable, and vote for me on Nov. 4th. With you, the people of Canton as my boss, I look forward to working with you to make Canton safer, more transparent, and kinder.
